and de-worming as needed.

-
1 month
trial pet insurance from ShelterCare.
*
Rabies is given to cats and kittens over 5 months or age.
We have a
revolving door policy for all animals adopted through us, for the life of
that animal. If the adoption does not work out for any reason, we want the
animal to come back to us rather than be abandoned, placed in an
unsuitable home, or taken to an animal shelter where it may be euthanized.
Adoption Qualifications
All potential
parents are interviewed to ensure the continued well being of the feline
being adopted. After a successful interview, an adoption agreement is
signed. The agreement covers the following qualifications for adoption:
-
The feline
must remain indoors only and is not to be de-clawed.
-
The feline
is not to wear a flea collar. We recommend applying a topical flea
control, such as Frontline®, Advantage®, or Revolution®.
-
The feline
is to be provided with a loving home, nutritious food, and medical
care as required to maintain good health, and never to be physically
abused or otherwise harmed.
-
In the event
that the feline cannot be properly cared for, for any reason, Folsom
Feline Rescue will be immediately notified. Should the feline be
returned to Folsom Feline Rescue, the donation will not be refunded.
-
Under no
circumstances will the feline ever be placed with any humane society
or animal shelter. Instead, the feline is to be returned to Folsom
Feline Rescue.
-
Folsom
Feline Rescue is to be immediately notified if this feline becomes
lost.
-
Folsom
Feline Rescue is to be immediately notified in the event that the
feline is ever euthanized (killed) due to a terminal illness.
We interview each adopter to find the best
possible match for our felines. We reserve the right to refuse an adoption
for any reason.

If you are looking
for kittens, please visit one of our adoption events or contact us for current kitten selections.
Kittens generally place faster than we can update this site with photographs. Please take a
few minutes to look at our older cats for adoption. They are all looking for
loving homes and do not require as much attention as a
kitten.
