"Helping pet overpopulation one cat and dog at a time!"

Each year Folsom Feline Rescue holds a major fundraising event called CatWalk. This event helps raise funds for our spay & neuter programs to help control pet over population.

Folsom Feline Rescue provides free spay and neuter certificates for cats, both tame and feral, and for dogs.  All monies collected will be used to help the local communities.  By spaying and neutering pets and ferals, FFR will take part in decreasing the numbers of unwanted litters that end up in the animal shelters.

Folsom Feline Rescue thanks all the walkers who brought in pledges and all the business sponsors who gave monetary donations or raffle prizes for all our events.   The support of the local community is very important to FFR. Please visit our web pages of past events and also support our event sponsors.

Controlling pet overpopulation is a major goal of Folsom Feline Rescue. Thousands of unwanted cats and dogs are euthanized each year in Sacramento County alone. Each animal that we can spay or neuter prevents potential offspring (usually 4 to 6 puppies or kittens per season) from growing up and having yet more offspring of their own. Together as a community we can break the cycle of misery caused by pet overpopulation. Visit our SNYP page for more information on our Spay / Neuter Your Pet Program or our trapping page for feral cats.
