Folsom Feline Rescue has decided, after 10 years of feline rescue services, to discontinue that program in favor of focusing strictly on population control programs such as spay and neuter and trapping services. Yes after 10 years of providing adoption and rescue services we have decided to focus solely on spay & neuter and trapping programs for the City of Folsom. This change will allow us to concentrate on providing spay & neuter services to the city and continue to reduce the number of unwanted pets in the area. Our trapping efforts will be more efficient with the new focus as well. We do still have a few adult cats that are waiting for their forever home's. So please visit our listed cats for adoption and let us know if you would like to see one in your home. Folsom Feline Rescue Announces Barn or Farm Placement Program! Folsom Feline Rescue has a number of semi-feral cats that would do well in a safe barn or farm outdoor environment. If you are looking for working cats for your acreage then give us a call. All cats are:
Cats participating in this program are looking for a nice indoor/outdoor area where they can roam and have some fun. Most cats were trapped from unsafe areas where the can no longer be re-released or are semi friendly but are human shy. We request a minimum of two cats to any location. The cats must be confined to any area of the property for at least three weeks before release. A barn or other facility is required for the cats to house them selves as they like. For more information on this program please contact us. No Adoption Fee For Previous Adopters or Volunteers! Folsom Feline Rescue will wave the adoption fee for previous adopters and volunteers, in good standing, interested in adopting one of our adult cats. If you have adopted from us before, or even volunteered, and you are looking to adopt a new pet this is the time. So please visit our listed cats for adoption and let us know if you want to take one home.
