No Adoption Fee For Previous Adopters!

Folsom Feline Rescue will wave the adoption fee for previous adopters, in good standing, interested in adopting one of our adult cats. If you have adopted from us before and you are looking to adopt a new pet this is the time. You can even foster the cat for a period of time to make sure it is a good fit in your home. Cats that can participate in this program must be 1 year or older. Sorry, kittens do not qualify.

So please visit our listed cats for adoption and let us know if you want to take one home for  a test drive.

SNYP will no longer accept checks!

Folsom Feline Rescue has been fortunate enough to provide the SNYP (Spay Neuter Your Pet) Program for the past 9 years with little interruption in services. However due to a recent rise in checks with insufficient finds and not being able to recover the cost related to returned checks will no longer be accepting checks as payment for the SNYP program.

As of July 1st any personal checks sent as payment will be returned to the sender. A cashiers check or money order will be the preferred payment methods. This new policy change will allow us to process and send out the SNYP certificates in a more reasonable time frame. If this presents a problem, please check our website for other spay/neuter programs in your area.

LapCats Events

The LapCats Special Care program is held at various assisted living residence in the Folsom/Orangevale/Fair Oaks area. LapCats volunteers, both human and feline, visit a different facility each month. Currently, seven local assisted living facilities receive visits on a revolving basis.

These visits are dedicated to special care wards to visit those seniors with serious health issues, or who are diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease or dementia, or who are unresponsive for some reason.

To request a visit by LapCats volunteers, or to volunteer to assist
