Folsom Feline Rescue Presents Pay it Forward for Pets Community Raffle Fundraiser. We chose this theme because we want to give our community the opportunity to support us in doing good deeds for abandoned and unwanted cats and dogs… "To Pay it Forward."
Purpose of the Fundraiser
Because Folsom Feline Rescue has had great success with rescuing and finding homes for abandoned cats we want to expand our rescue efforts to dogs. The following is a list of items we need to start rescuing Folsom's abandoned and unwanted dogs:
- Costs associated with starting Folsom Canine Rescue
Adoption items: dog pens, carriers
Foster home items: food, bedding, etc.
Medical expenses: spay, neuter, shots, testing, treatment
Emergency medical expenses: surgeries, hospitalization
Additionally we would like to start a financial assistance program for those who cannot afford to spay /neuter their pets. If we raise enough money, we can actively advertise this and start helping to reduce the dog/cat population in our community.
Sale dates of Raffle Tickets
Feb 17th - March 4
Ticket Sales:
Folsom Feline/Canine Rescue volunteers will be selling tickets to their neighbors, co-workers, family & friends.
Ticket Sales will be promoted at our adoption events held every Saturday at Petco in Fair Oaks and every Sunday at Petco in Folsom.
Tickets sales will be promoted at the Community Fair held at Sunrise Mall on Saturday, Feb. 17th. Folsom Feline/Canine Rescue will have booth space at the Community Fair to educate the public and support our community.
Cost of Raffle Tickets
$1.00 per ticket or 6 tickets for $5.00.
Raffle Prize Drawings
The raffle ticket drawings will be held on March 4th @ Petco in Folsom at 2 PM.
