continued to enjoy her bounty until they were adopted at about seven weeks -yes, they reached neutering weight in a remarkably short time. (She went on to nurse many more kittens, some as young as four weeks, some as old as four months.)
These two motherless kittens who, despite such a precarious start to life, grew to be two big, robust young felines, showed me a human with a plastic bottle is no substitute for the real thing - but we'll do in a pinch.
