AND THEY LIVED HAPPILY EVER AFTER

In December, we received the following letter from one of our previous foster kitties. As you'll see from her photos, she's one happy girl in her new home. And we had no idea that she could type so well! - Editor

Christmas 2005

Dear John, Tracy, and all at Folsom Feline Rescue:

Hello! How are you all? My name is Hope. I don't know if you remember me, but I sure remember you. You rescued me from death row, and took care of me, fed me, sheltered me, loved me, and kept me safe until my new parents found me two years ago this past August at Petco. I owe you everything! And at this wonderful time of year, I wanted to let you know that and to thank you.

My Mom and Dad are great! It took me a few weeks to settle in; I thought maybe this was just another foster home. I soon realized I was here to stay. My Mom tells me all the time that I am their Forever Kitty. I have a new middle name, too, and go by Hope Abigail. I like it lots. I am sending you a picture of me; maybe you will remember me. I also wanted to show you how happy and comfy I am so you will know that what you do is so, so good for us little forgotten kitties, and never forgotten. I am a true family member now; I never have to leave, and have a real home, for life! And… it is all because of you.

I have saved my allowance all year long, and wanted to send you a little something. It's not much, but I am sure it will help you. I do want to apologize for being difficult at adoptions, but that is just me. I am glad my Mom and Dad had a lady from another Petco call John to be sure that he brought me the next day to the Folsom Petco, which is where I met my Mom and Dad -- thanks John!!

Anyway, I am looking forward to another wonderful Holiday Season in my home (my third Christmas here!!!) and wanted to wish you all the best. Seasons Greetings, Happy Holidays, Merry Christmas, and Happy New Year.

Love,
Hope Abigail Osborne
