FFR will hold its sixth annual fundraising walk-a-thon, CatWalk 2006, on Saturday, April 8, 2006. Funds raised from the CatWalk will be used for spay and neuter procedures for cats, dogs, and ferals.
We start from historic Sutter Street in Folsom and walk in a loop a distance of 5K in view of the beautiful American River.
Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. at the event desk in the parking lot across from the intersection of Sutter Street and Decatur in old town Folsom. The walk starts at 10:00 a.m., rain or shine.
The cost is $25 per walker; walk free with pledges of $25 or more (the $25 fee includes a t-shirt, while supplies last). Kids 12 and under walk free.

FFR is collecting "gently used" hardbound and paperback books for a book sale to benefit No More Homeless Pets in Sacramento County. Proceeds from the sale, to be held in March, will help pay for twice-yearly pet "Super Adoption" events sponsored by No More Homeless Pets.

On Saturday, May 6, FFR volunteers will be participating in the City of Folsom's Community Yard Sale, held from 8:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. at Lembi Park, 1302 Riley Street, Folsom.
Funds raised at the Yard Sale will benefit FFR's spay and neuter programs.
We're doing our Spring cleaning -- and we hope you'll come and do some shopping!
