PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE

Spring is in the air, and soon there will be kittens being born. If you have a cat that needs to be spayed or neutered, or know of one, please take advantage of our SNYP program for cats, and prevent a pregnancy before it happens. Cats generally go into heat in Spring, and yours may already be in heat. There is a $20 copay for each cat. Our SNYP program also covers dog spays and neuters.

If you are interested in adopting a kitten, please be patient. We expect to get some kittens by May, at the soonest. We have to ensure that they are spayed and neutered, which means that they will be 8-10 weeks old before being placed for adoption. Please feel free to contact us by email or phone as it gets closer to May to see if we have any available. In the meantime, we have several adults who are waiting to be noticed and who will have a tough time competing for attention once kittens arrive. Keep in mind that adults are already settled and not as much maintenance as kittens. So if you can find it in your heart to adopt a cat now, you'll have a loving companion for life.
