How are we doing? When I ask "how are we doing," I am talking about Folsom Feline Rescue.
The answer is, I think we are making a difference in our community and county, as well as setting an example for others to follow.
Even though Folsom Feline Rescue provides spay and neuter assistance for all of Sacramento County, we do like to focus on our local community in Folsom. We work closely with our Animal Services officers to try and keep Folsom strays out of the County Shelter.
This year our kitten numbers are much lower than they were in previous years. To me this is the indicator we need to know that spay and neuter works. It may take 5, 7, or even 10 years, but eventually the signs will be there. So keep it up, because you are making a difference.
