PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE

Kitten season is upon us again, and we have several cute and fluffy ones available. Please come to our adoption events to hear them purr in person!

Please keep in mind, though, when adopting a new family member, that he or she is a lifelong commitment. We will always take back our cats; however, it is stressful for a cat to be placed in a loving home and then suddenly find itself back in foster care due to a family member's allergies or relocation to a home that doesn't allow pets.

Sadly, these cats are sometimes no longer adoptable due to extreme skittishness or aggression as a result of being uprooted from what they knew to be their homes and being put into a strange environment. This saddens us because it's our hope that our cats will find "forever" homes, and bond with a family who will love them.

If you are unable to adopt at this time, please consider temporarily fostering a kitten or two, or an adult cat. We are always in need of foster homes, and your foster cats will be forever grateful.
