CATWALK 2009

On September 26, animal lovers and supporters of Folsom Feline Rescue came out for CatWalk 2009, a 5K walk to raise funds for spay and neuter services for companion cats and dogs, as well as feral cats.

Walkers from all age groups, along with several canine companions, made the walk. It was a beautiful day, though hot! $1500 was raised, which will be used to spay and neuter cats and dogs, decreasing the number of animals being born; this ultimately reduces the number of animals that are euthanized due to lack of homes and lack of shelter space.

Folsom Feline Rescue would like to sincerely thank this year's CatWalk participants for helping us take steps to end pet overpopulation.
