EDITOR'S MESSAGE

Dear readers:

I am writing to ask for your help so that FFR may continue to publish and distribute The Kitty Scoop newsletter.

Due to the generosity of a very kind donor, postage for The Kitty Scoop has been donated to us for several years. However, in the near future, this donor will no longer be able to offer this donation.

Currently, The Kitty Scoop is mailed quarterly to 1550 recipients. At current postage rates, this is $651 per mailing, or $2604 per year. FFR will be unable to pay for this postage; we will use our existing donations and grants to further our rescue work.

We believe that The Kitty Scoop is important not only for keeping our friends and supporters informed about our ongoing rescue work, but also for helping educate readers on important feline-related topics.

FFR's successes have been possible because of the generosity of our friends, donors, and supporters, who we turn to again, asking for your help. Are you able to make a special donation specifically to help cover our yearly postage costs? Or, perhaps, are you able to donate stamps?

If you are unable to assist with postage, perhaps you, or a business you know, might be able to print one or more issues of the newsletter each year.
