PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE

Wow, I am so glad this year is almost over. It has been the hardest year Folsom Feline Rescue has ever experienced in rescue work, and I hear it is the same for others in this business as well. Adoptions remain very volatile, but I am hoping for things to pick up in December.

Well, our country has a new President, and I am sure many changes are on the horizon -- hopefully all for the better. Speaking of new presidents, Folsom Feline Rescue will also be making a change in 2009. I will be stepping down as President at the end of this year, and my wife, Janet, will take the reins for awhile.

It has been a great 8 years for this group. We have accomplished so much in such a short time, and I see that continuing with Janet's leadership. I'll continue to be an active volunteer, and I am sure to see some of you around town.
