HOMELESS ANIMALS GET SECOND CHANCE AT LIFE
Folsom Feline Rescue Goes On-Line to Adopt Shelter Animals
Thanks to Folsom Feline Rescue 's use of the latest internet technology,
homeless animals in Folsom will get more chances to be adopted. Folsom
Feline Rescue has joined the PetShelter Network, whose web site at
www.PetShelter.net links the public with animal shelters and rescue
groups nationwide. Homeless animals' photos and compelling stories will
be shared on-line with over a thousand potential adopters daily.
Folsom Feline Rescue has taken the initiative to extend their public
outreach by participating in the PetShelter Network. Staff members are
excited and confident that increased exposure over the internet will
help more of their animals find homes faster.
"We're delighted to have Folsom Feline Rescue join our
network," says Sue Clement, PetShelter's Managing Director.
"Our goal is to help lovable shelter animals find the homes they
deserve."
Launched in April 1998, the PetShelter Network is a searchable,
user-friendly database that lists animals available for adoption. People
can use their home computers to search for an animal of a particular
breed, size, gender or age. Use of the site is free to both
participating shelters and members of the public.
