Victor
  Give the gift of health!

Welcome to Viktor's fund where your donations go directly to a feline in need of special medical attention. Read Viktor's Story for more information about this amazing kitten and why this fund is dedicated to him, our very first special needs kitten.

Folsom Feline Rescue is very happy with the success of Viktor's operation. A young kitten was given the opportunity to see again. Viktor is the living proof of what can be accomplished when caring people pull together for a worthy cause.

Kitten gets life saving surgery!

August 11, 2009

Mick gets help for Diaphragmatic Hernia repair.

This birth defect creates an opening in the diaphragm (the muscle that separates the chest cavity from the abdominal cavity) and can allow some of the organs that are normally found in the abdomen to move up into the chest cavity through this abnormal opening. This is the first surgery we have done for a small kitten. Raven, an older cat, also had this surgery performed in 2007.

Your donations can continue to help cats in need. Cats and kittens like Viktor, Jarjar, and Olivia will always be out there looking for someone to care enough to get them the help they need.

Please continue your support so we can continue ours.
